Orlando, Florida – The International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The Expo featured over 400 exhibitors, 85 of them were newcomers this year. Approximately 7,000 are in attendance annually with 62 countries represented outside of the US. Those in attendance are ranging from government, public safety, transportation, utility and enterprise professionals to observe the latest innovative technologies.
The event functions as a networking forum and to learn about the latest products the industry has to offer. This year IWCE introduced “Women of Wireless Workshop” and “Attracting Millennials to a Rewarding Career in Wireless” to encompass technology advances and an evolving cultural society.
Liberty Port attended the event and gained some insight on how key public safety operators such as first responders, are able to communicate within their internal network.
